I feel ripped off. Do I have to buy an Xbox to play Skyrim without Steam? Or are they the overlords of that too? Theres no steam on Xbox, but u still need net for updates and such. Sabina, the best u can do for PC, is to turn off updating, steam cloud, and steam splash in game. Other than that. It requires steam.

  1. To begin with, you need to download Steam for Mac. After launching Steam, you would have to buy Skyrim from Steam. Following the mentioned steps, you will be required to download Wineskin. Once you setup Wine, follow the instructions, wrapper winetricks 'steam' run. Do not forget to update the engine in the winery.
  2. No you don't have to If you own a copy, but you can type the key onto steam if you want to download it from steam.
  3. Enderal is a Skyrim Mod, so yes, you need Skyrim installed, but once you have Enderal installed you can use it like a stand-alone. Enderal downloads files from Skyrim's depot on its own. It doesn't interfere with Skyrim in any way. All you need is the license.
